This workshop is for folks who are familiar with the basic functions of MarcEdit such as adding, deleting fields in MARC records, and making simple modifications to MARC fields. Functions that will be addressed will include, using MarcEdit to gather and process records from other catalogs before loading them into your library automation system, exporting MARC record data to formats for reporting holdings to VUC / Pubcat, and the usefulness and limitations of MARC validator. Content may be tailored to attendees interests, so please use the comment section on the registration form to indicate specific functions or topics that are of interest to you.

Group sizes for this workshop should be between 5 and 10 participants. If there are more than 8 participants, some may need to supply their own laptop for hands-on activities.
