Topics to be discussed will include metadata definitions and description schemas; interpreting and creating MARC (machine readable cataloging) and Dublin Core records; and MARC to Dublin Core conversion tools. Priority will be given to librarians who have taken the Cataloging, Organization and Access workshop and who are from public libraries that are automated.
