Meet Max the English Lab Author

Where: Rochester Hills Public Library at Multipurpose Room

Description: Max, the English Lab and author of Dogs Move Too! will bring his human, Anthony Majewski to RHPL. Together they will tell you all about Max's book and about the work they do with the Leader Dogs for the Blind. Future Leader Dogs will also be on hand to meet you. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Knit for a Cause

Learn to knit and make a scarf or a scarf square for charity donation. Adult volunteer knitters will be on hand to help.

Sunday Concert

Allen Yuan, 15, began piano lessons at the age of five. As a result of winning the Grand Prize at the 50th Annual World Piano Competition Young Artist Division in 2006 in Cincinnati, Allen performed at Carnegie Hall. He has won numerous awards including 3rd Place in the solo division at Kingsville International Young Artist Piano Competition, one of the four finalists of the 3rd Schimmel USASU Young Artists International Junior Piano Competition and in the MTNA 2008-9 competitions, 1st Place in Michigan, and 2nd Place in East Central Division. Allen’s concert will feature Beethoven, Chopin, Martinu, and more.
