Entering grades 6-12
Create your own tie dye in shades reminiscent of the night sky- midnight blue, deep purple, and black satin. The library provides the high quality dye and supplies. Participants must bring items to dye such as t-shirts, pillow cases, etc. For best results the items should be 100% cotton and prewashed without using fabric softener or dryer sheets. Participants will bring dyed items home in a plastic bag to set overnight and rinse out the next day (take-home instructions will be provided). Please wear old clothing and shoes as dye may drip, spill, or splatter! REGISTRATION is required and begins June 13. Limited to 25 participants. Sponsored by the Friends of Penfield Public Library.
