Description: Tom DeClaire takes us on an unforgettable trip to see the world’s greatest collection of antiquities and the incredible hustle and bustle of life today! We’ll visit Cairo, the Sphinx, and the Great Pyramids at Giza; take an overnight train trip to Luxor and its famous temple; ferry across the Nile to the Valley of the Queens and Kings, including King Tut’s tombs. A 3 day cruise on the Nile takes us to Aswan, from where we visit the High Dam and Philae Temple. The trip concludes with a night visit to the Great Temple of Abu Simbel. Sponsored by the Friends of Penfield Public Library REGISTRATION begins on Friday, October 30.
