Event Type: ADULT PROGRAMS Date: 11/2/2009, 11/9/2009 Start Time: 6:30 PM End Time: 8:30 PM Description: For ages teen—adults. REGISTERING FOR ONE PLACES YOU IN BOTH CLASSES. Learn the basics of beginning knitting in this class taught by Tamara Kelley, a skilled knitting instructor. You will learn to cast on, work the knit stitch and purl stitch, bind off and read a basic pattern. Supplies required Please bring a smooth not fuzzy worsted weight yarn, in a light color, and knitting needles in a size 4.5-5.5 mm. That’s sizes 7,8, or 9. Also, wood or bamboo knitting needles are recommended, but not required. Sponsored by the Friends of Penfield Public Library. REGISTRATION begins on Monday, October 19 and is limited to 10 participants. November 9th session will be held in the conference room. Please register once for both sessions. Status: Openings |
