Board members with some experience are invited to learn more about nonprofit governance and how to make a more significant contribution as a board member. You're welcome to bring specific challenges or questions to this session. You will learn about:

• Nonprofit developmental stages
• Effective executive director - board relationships
• Solving common board problems such as reticence to fundraise, nonfunctioning board structure and disengagement
• Fiscal accountability
• Tips, best practices, common questions

Cost:
The $35 fee includes refreshments and materials: Advanced Boot Camp materials, Fiduciary Duties of Directors of Charitable Organizations, and Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence. This workshop is free for persons who work for MAP supporting companies.
