Celebrate the Mitten Writers Conference - CAS

Event Type: Program for Adults
Date: 4/20/2013
Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Time: 2:30 PM
Description:
Attention aspiring authors -- join us for this free half-day event featuring local publishing insiders and published authors who will lead sessions on how to market your book, out-of-the-box ways to make money as an author and traditional vs. self-publishing. All genres and skill levels are welcome, and you do not need to have a book written already to attend! A full agenda is below. Pre-registration is required and participant spots are limited. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Cascade Library, Arbutus Press and StoryLook Design. For adults.
NOTE: Plan to need extra time to get to the library for this event. Major roadwork along 28th Street will make approaching the library via 28th Street from the west very difficult. If possible, participants are advised to approach the branch from the 196 28th Street east exit, or take Patterson Avenue or Spaulding Avenue to 28th Street for minimum disruption. Construction drops off west of the I-96 interchange, so if you are approaching from the freeway you should not experience much of a delay.
