Does Religion belong in libraries? 2 LEUs (Adult focus) Paula Newcom of the Indiana State library will speak to best practices for religious material collection development. This session will also examine how to provide respectful service without breaching personal barriers. Intellectual Freedom and ALA’s Library Bill of Rights will also be covered. The training is offered at the Lowell Public Library, 1505 E. Commercial Avenue, Lowell, IN, 46356 and the phone number is 219-696-7704. Registration is required.
