Event Type: Workshop Date: 5/21/2011 Start Time: 10:00 AM End Time: 3:00 PM Description: In addition to the business meeting and two presentations we will celebrate Genealogy Day at the Eiteljorg along with the Indiana African American Genealogy Group. Our presenters will be: Maurice Rembert, I-LLID 2010 graduate, speaking on “Unintended Audiences: Adult Readers of Young Adult Literature” and Valentine Muyumba, Chair of Cataloging/Interim Chair of Acquisitions/Serials at the Cunningham Memorial Library, Indiana State University, speaking on “Diversity Issues at Indiana State University”. After lunch you may take a guided tour or attend a lecture at 2:00 p.m. by author, genealogist and scholar Angela Walton-Raji, presenting on “Blended Families: Tracing African-Native American Genealogy”.
