The Art Workshop is designed for youth in fourth grade through middle school, with the assistance of high school students. The project will be guided by WCSD Art teachers (and /or retired). Our ultimate goal of the workshop is to reduce substance abuse in youth, as well as to increase their positive identity, have a sense of purpose, increase self- esteem, have adult’s model positive behaviors, and have youth put value on helping others. The workshop will be interactive, educational, and raise awareness around issues of substance abuse.
