Under the Heights Collaborative Art Project

When: Friday, June 14, 2013 - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Write, draw, paint, and photograph the story of living in the Heights. Throughout the summer, meet other teens to create a collaborative art & performance project that seeks to get under the surface of what it is like to be a teen in the Heights. Each session we will work on a different aspect of the project and focus on one medium—including photography, painting, drawing, and poetry. At the end of the summer, we will turn the teen room into a gallery and share our work. For teens 15-19.

Superman Day!

Reading Buddies @ Summer Lunch

Kids entering K-3 can stop by every Monday during the summer lunch program by for an hour of fun and reading with teen volunteers, who will be ready with books, games, and literacy-based activities. This is a great opportunity for kids to maintain reading skills during the summer and have positive interactions with teens.
